Steve Henry Dailey

Steve Henry Dailey, 65, of Morristown, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Covenant Health Care after a lingering illness.

Steve graduated in 1974 from Morristown East High School. Steve worked with his brother, Gary, for several years as a carpet layer.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Willie V. Dailey; sister, Henrietta; and brothers, Terry, Gary and Wayne Dailey.

LSteve is survived by sisters, Mary (Mike) Williams and Lynnis Richmond of Morristown; brothers, Ronald Dailey of Georgia and Michael Dailey of Morristown; sister-in-Law, Trena Dailey of Morristown; aunt, Frances Pate of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of relativeThe family will receive friends 11 a.m. – noon, Thursday, September 24 at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at noon. Interment to follow at Rock of Ages Cemetery.

Janice Y. McMahan was born January 25, 1945 to Cliffert (Martin) and Chester McMahan and went to be with the Lord Friday, September 18, 2020.She was a Morristown College graduate and a beloved school teacher. She enjoyed jmany years of teaching and retired from Lincoln Heights Elementary. She was a devout Christian with a strong faith who was an active member of Abundant Life Church serving as an usher, member of the serving committee and used her keen sense of design to help keep the church’s landscaping looking beautiful.She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Aaron “Sonny” McMahan; and sister, Delores McCravyShe is survived by her siblings, Josephine Fry (George), Marjorie Houston (Charles), LaRue Guerber, Brenda Goodson (Joe), Anita Williams (James), Harold McMahan (Norma) and Philip McMahan; sons, William Johnson (Carmen), Jonathan Johnson (Melissa), and Robert Johnson (Miranda); grandchildren, Patrick, Demetrius, Jaylen, Breanna, Jada, Tison, Skylan and Braeden; great-grandchildren, Zaida and Nova; special niece, Kimberly Boamah; along with many other nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 23 at New Salem Cemetery in Sevierville.Arrangements by: Dockery-Senter Funeral Home



Kathrine F. “Kathy” Shelton

Katherine F. “Kathy” Shelton, 71, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020 at UT Medical Center. She loved doing crafts and being outdoors. She also loved find out about her family history and gardening.

She has gone to be with her husband, Eugene Shelton; and her parents, Walter Kabot and Bobbie R. Crook.

Survivors include her son, Bryan Shelton (Cheyanne); and her daughter; Wendy D. Roberts; grandchildren, Brooklyn Braiden, Arianna Shelton, Megan, Dawn, and Peyton Roberts.
