Jacqueline L. Blackstock Bragg

Jacqueline L. Blackstock Bragg was born May 9, 1949 in Rockingham, North Carolina. She departed this life on June 22, 2021 at Morristown- Hamblen Hospital. She was the daughter of the late T.W. and Clara Blackstock of Morristown, TN.
There are many members of her immediate family that will always love her, cherish her memory and be inspired by her life and legacy. Among them are her husband of 56 years Rev. Carl Bragg , son James Anthony Bragg, and daughter Carla Michelle Bragg(Jason Jarm) . Five grandchildren Cheska Shanice Bragg, Ryan Anthony Bragg, Darryl Tre’ Johnson, Carlee Brooklyn Bryant, and Talik Antonio Young. Two great-grandchildren Jack Theron Wagner III, and Mila Shanice Wagner. Beloved ex-daughter-in-law Staci Michelle Bragg.
The family will receive friends from 4:00PM-5:00PM Sunday June 27, 2021 at Friendship Baptist Church in Greenville, TN. Funeral Services will follow at 5:00PM with Rev. C.C. Mills Jr. officiating

Rita Ann Jones

Rita Ann Jones, 67, passed away peacefully June 15 at UT Medical Center after a valiant eight-month battles with Covid.
Rita was born April 10, 1954 in Morristown to Ron Sr. and Delores Jones. She attended Morristown West High School where she took an early interest in cosmetology. Rita was a free spirit whose true passion was to help people. She held many management positions in her professional career before following her heart to be a health care worker. It was also that desire to help others that led her to join Rock of Ages Baptist Church.
Rita was a dedicated member of the pastor’s aid committee and all of the outreach ministries. She could regularly be found in her second row pew doting on her Rockkids Des and Bri, who affectionately called her “granny.”
She was preceded in death by her parents Ron Sr. and Delores Jones; grandparents, Frank and Cora Harris and Ed and Stella Jones; brothers, Ron Jones Jr., Robert (Bobby) Sawyer and Art Jones, of Florida.
Survivors include loving sons, Chad Jones and Dustin Stubblefield; sister, Cathy (Bobby) Durnkell, of North Carolina; brother Rick (Teresa) Jones, of Kentucky; five grandchildren, Cha, Corey, Cobi, Zach and Americus; great grandchildren, Harper and Keyson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, June 21 at 6 p.m. at the Rock of Ages Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the church.
The burial will follow Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. June 22 at Jarnagin Cemetery.
