Jerome Spencer Osborne

Jerome Spencer Osborne also known as Buff passed away peacefully in his home on July 28th, 2021 in Morristown, TN. He was born and raised in Knoxville, TN to Jewel Wilson-Nolan and Herbert Osborne who he was preceded in death by. He was also preceded in death by his older brother Calvin Wilson and uncle Edward Wilson. 

 

Jerome was a loving son, uncle, brother and father figure to many. He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. Jerome was fascinated with cars and he loved himself a Cadillac. He was fortunate to be able to own a few of them throughout his time on earth. He attended Austin East high where he graduated in 1986. He worked at Goodwill for over 20 years as a sorter.

 

He is survived by his brother Tony Ward, sister in law Lisa Ward and devoted nephew Keshaun Kyle. His devoted friend Regina Manuel, step-daughter Seqouyah Houston and step-grandson Adrian. His devoted neices Shakima Kyle, Shantora Wilson (little Michael), Cassidy Wilson and Dreama Wilson (little Josiah and Blaze). Devoted cousin's Marion Johnson and Denise Dalton. Devoted church family at Tony's Chapel and Sister Jane Buis. Also, the Murriel, Dalton, Wilson, Osborne, Rucker family and too many more to name.


Receiving of Family and Friends will be Aug 10, 2021  6 - 7 pm with Service to start at 7:00 pm at

Willetta Winton

Willetta Winton was born July 27, 1965. Her physical life came to an end Wednesday, July 28, 2021 after battling cancer for two months.


Willetta was welcomed into the home of William and Maxie Yeary Winton at the age of 23 months. She was educated in the Knoxville school system, and enjoyed many activities the school offered. Early in life, Willetta accepted Christ, and was baptized by her grandfather, Rev. Lester Yeary. She was loved by all of her family, and she loved to visit in her relative’s homes.


After her teenage years, Willetta moved around quite a bit, finally settling down in the Nashville area. She was employed by Hallmark Card Company, working in different stores stocking cards until experiencing illness.


Willetta was preceded in death by son, Tony; daughter, Rameria; parents, William Winton, James and Maxie Chandler; and grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Lester Yeary.


Willetta will be remember by her daughter, Lindsey; the Yearys, Blevins, Smiths, Chandlers, Wintons and friends.


The family will receive friends 5 – 6 p.m., Wednesday, August 4 at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. burial will immediately follow the service at Bent Creek Cemetery in Whitesburg.

Jeanette Elizabeth Madeline “Net-Net” Burnside

JEANETTE ELIZABETH MADELINE BURNSIDE

‘NET-NET


Jeanette Elizabeth Madeline “Net-Net” Burnside, 77, of Morristown, went home to be with the Lord Thursday July 1, 2021. She was born April 24, 1944 in Morristown.


She received Jesus Christ at a young age. One of her greatest pastimes was playing cards, board games and softball with family members and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvie and Sparta Burnside; brothers and special sister-in-law, Henry W. “Big Daddy” Burnside, Sr., Annette “Big Mama” Burnside, and Robert “R.G.” Burnside; and nieces, Angela Burnside, Yvonne McAdams.


Net-Net leaves to mourn her passing, daughter, Lavinia “Pooter” (Joe) Frischmann of Indiana; sister, Marion Treece of Morristown; nephews, Henry W. “Hot Rod” (Jessica) Burnside, Roderick “Rod” (Patty) Burnside, Cheyenne “Bo” (Myra) Burnside of Belmont, North Carolina, Maurice (Lolita) Boseman of Morristown, Ricky (Diane) Stewart of Knoxville, and Orlando and Mark Burnside of Rutledge; nieces, Rosalind (Carroll) Thompson of Morristown, Marion Burnside of Rutledge and Jackie (Gary) Hickman; very special niece, friend and caregiver, Kathy Norris; as well as a host of great- and great-great- nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and many friends.


The family will receive friends noon – 2 p.m., Monday, July 5 at Bethel Baptist Church with a celebration of life service to follow at 2 p.m.
