Lafayette Kent Patterson

Lafayette Kent Patterson

March 2, 1941 - June 14, 2022

 

Lafayette Kent Patterson passed away June 14, 2022 at Life Care Center in Morristown, Tennessee

 

He was born March 2, 1941 to the late Kent and Grace Treece Patterson, the oldest of four children. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Morristown, Tennessee.

 

In addition to his parents Lafayette was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Patterson. Lafayette is survived by four sons, Lafayette, Jr. (Buzzy), Maurice, Jerome, and Joshua; five grandchildren, brother Kerry (Julia), sister Pamela (Mike), a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Graveside interment will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, 1 p.m., at Hamblen Memory Gardens, Morristown, Tennessee. Mr. Patterson is in the care of Dockery Funeral Home, Morristown, Tennessee.

James R. “Monkey” Lane

James R. “Monkey” Lane, age 74 died Monday, May 30, 2022 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital.

James was born at home in Morristown, Tennessee to James C and Addie Lane.  He was preceded in death by Parents:

James C. and Addie Lane. Wife: Helen Lovell and Stepson, Nephew, Niece.

He is survived by his Stepdaughter,, Step grand kids and great grandson Braxton Chili Chopper.  Brothers: Dale and Joann Lane, Johnny and Jerry Lane, Raymond and Keri Lane.  Sisters: Kay Brown and Bessie Sinard and Nieces and Nephews.  James was a church going and loving person who many family and friends loved.

Funeral Services Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 7:00 PM, Dockery – Senter Funeral Home. Officiating Rev. Jack Greene.

Stephen Lundy Sr.

Stephen Lundy Sr. departed this life on April 19, 2022. Stephen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Rosa Lundy, maternal grandparents Robert and Lula Birden and his infant son Raymond Lundy.

 

Stephen was a graduate of Fulton High School’s class of 1996 where he played in the marching band. He had many friends and classmates that he kept in touch with through out the years. He had recently moved to Michigan where he had begun  working with an young mens mentoring program and security.

 

Stephen leaves to cherish many memories his wife, LaTisha Lundy, children Katherine, Alexandria, Victoria, Stephen Jr., Christopher, Levi, Shedaria Fairfax, Javon, Jabari Isom, Destiny Stevenson, Tadasia Stevenson, Naomi, Madison, Serenity, two granddaughters, father and mother, Linda and Johnny Lundy, sisters Lindsay Lundy and Lisa Meade, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends too numerous to name.

 

A memorial fund has been set up in his honor with Knoxville TVA Credit Union
