Desmond Nance, 35, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Newport, Tennessee. Funeral services are Friday, February 11 at 7 p.m. at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home the family will be receiving friends starting at 6 p.m. A graveside service  will be held Saturday, February 12 at 11 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens

Barbara Jean Bragg , age 88 of Morristown went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 25, 2022. 

Barbara joined Rock of Ages Baptist Church and Bethel Baptist Church, over the years she supported many other ministries in the area. Barbara was active with Bethel Baptist Missionary  Circle#3,  served as Deaconess, and Usher of Rock of Ages  Baptist Church.

 Retired from Shelby Williams after 37 years, graduated from Morristown College, 1951 actively supported Reunion of Ages Alumnis, and Classy Royal Red Hatters of Morristown survivors: Devoted Husband Deacon Charles Ken Bragg. Devoted daughters: Michelle Hale, Marla Brice of Morristown.  Devoted granddaughters Jamelia Westmoreland of Atlanta,  and Rochelle Hale of Morristown. Three great grandchildren, host of dedicated nieces, nephews, and special friends. Special niece Melvina "Vinay" Wallace. 

Services, Friday January 28, 2022 at Dockery Senter Funeral Home. Family friends visitation 11:30-12:30 Funeral 12:30, officiating  Rev. William Butler. Interment Hamblen Memory Gardens . Services entrusted to Dockery Senter Funeral Home.

Teresa Doreen Thomas age 60, transitioned from this Life January 5, 2022 at Life Care Center , Morristown Tennessee.  She was born May 3, 1960 to the late Luther Thomas and Aileen Bell.  Proceeded in death Sister; Penny Griffin.  She graduated from Morristown East High School and attended Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee.

She is survived by Son; Chad Thomas, Daughter: Kaleah Story of Johnson City , Tennessee.  Sister; Deborah (Morris) Sherles. Two Nephews; Shawn Cotner and Robert Griffin.  Two nieces; Kelesie, Kristen Cotner, Nephews; Tay and Trey Griffin.

Special thanks to the Staff at Life Care Center of Morristown for giving all the love and care possible. Also a Special thanks to Timmy Senter, Phillip Story, Yvonne Rucker, and Walter Thomas.
