Helen Laverne Roberts, 82, loving wife and mother of three children, returned to her heavenly home Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Helen lived a life dedicated and devoted to her family and her Lord and Savior.
Helen was a kind and compassionate lady who enjoyed spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends. She was a member of Morristown Church of Christ. Helen was loved by all you had the privilege to know her; she will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Marjorie Shipe; four brothers; five sisters; and grandchild, Timothy Williford.
Helen was blessed with a large and loving family. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Glenn Bucky Roberts; daughters, Karen (Manuel) Garcia of Florida, Kelley (Dewayne) Evans and Kerri (Michael) Johnson.; grandchildren, Heather Roberts, Erica Williford, Corey Williford, Malcolm Evans, Jaden Evans, Kobe Evans, Keyuna Roberts, Kean Johnson, Austin Roberts, Jordan Nolasco and Shante Profitt, special great-grandchild, Hunter Williford; sisters, Joanne McDonald of Louisville Kentucky, and Geraldine Miller of Greeneville; several great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family expresses their thanks to the Morristown Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends 1 – 2 p.m., Sunday, April 11 at Morristown Church of Christ, East Andrew Johnson Highway, with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. Burial immediately following at Bent Creek Cemetery.
