Eugene “Gene” Johnson Jr.

Eugene “Gene” Johnson Jr, age 70, of Morristown, TN, fell asleep in death on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at his home surrounded by family in Morristown, TN after a long struggle with health problems. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in faith and attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (Morristown West Congregation). Gene was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He started working for W.R.Grace in 1988 and retired in 2016 under the name of Trelleborg Printing Solutions.
He was preceded in death by parents Eugene and Justine Johnson, a stillborn son and nephew Jarvis Stacy. Survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Marilyn Carmichael Johnson; daughter Ashli Jenkins; grandchildren, Cayli, Tavion, Mileah, and Gabriel Jenkins; sister, Beverly Phipps (William); nephew, Jay Stacy; aunt, Mildred Moore and a host of cousins, friends, and fellow worshippers.
