Mrs. Barbara K. Yeary, age 72, of Morristown, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems. She was born January 25, 1943 in Rutledge, Tennessee to the late Estelle Marie and James Robert “Fess” Kyle.
She was saved at an early age and a devoted member of Abundant Life Church. She loved the Lord and loved her family. She worked for many years at Enka (BASF) as a sorter and packer. She last worked as a safety hearing officer for the State of... Tennessee Department of Safety.
She was preceded in death by her sister Betty Jean (Kyle) Burnside and great-grandson, Jordan M. Yeary.
She leaves to celebrate her life her mother by proxy, Mary V. Dotson-Bowen-Rucker; her children: Kathy M. (Shirley) Donaldson and Lillian E. (Shaun) Boswell; grandchild: Martina (Terrance) Elders; great-grandchildren: Ty Ewing, Ta and Taneja Yeary, and Cordae “Max” Kyle; brother and sister by proxy: Johnny (Ann) Bowen and Crilla (John) Tyler; sister-in-law, Nina Caldwell; nephews and nieces: Orlando, Mark, Marion, Angie and Jackie Burnside, April (Melvin) Bowen-Worsley, Rodney Bowen, Roxanne and Jordan Bowen, Nicole Cardwell Hampton, Tracie Johnson, Gretchen Cardwell and Catherine Campbell; special son, Anthony Kyle; and her aunt, Mary (George) Johnson.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow the service at Yeary Cemetery in Lowland.
